4-6 runners carry hoops and cannot be tagged
A tagged runner may be freed by a fellow runner by jumping in and out of
a hoop- two foot jump over a height into and out of the hoop
Modification: Hoops should be placed on the ground rather than the air
Extension: Increase the height of the hoop when jumping in and out of it
or have fewer players with hoops

Landing on hands

From kneeling to crouch stand

Landing backwards

Back safety roll from squat down incline

Practice on floor from a squat position and then

standing

Final Activity
Students will be divided into even teams and complete a line of leap frog
series over their team in a kneeled position, then a crouched position
Competition against other teams may be introduced to complete the
lesson
Learner Diversity

Have non-participants spot, help groups, judge final activity or run

stretching session- create series of stretches

Non-participants or weaker students may help spot positions

Smaller groups increases maximum participation

Have demonstrations of each activity and position to assist weaker

students understanding

Clear concise instructions

Provide activity alternatives- challenges and modifications for

weaker and stronger students

Confirm understanding of activity before commencement

Attend all groups and individuals- provide feedback,

encouragement and correction
