I have been able to demonstrate professional knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and studies. In order to effectively create a successful learning program, teachers must know their students and how they learn. In my professional learning experiences I managed to create and design lessons, activities and resources to engage all students and support diversity.

Throughout my professional learning experiences I managed to create and
design lessons, activities and resources to engage all students and support diversity. As a part of my professional experience III, I planned and modified a lesson to differentiate my teaching to meet the specific needs of the learners (1.5). This lesson also included strategies to support full participation of all students particularly one boy with autism (1.6). During my experiences I allowed time to build and develop professional relationships with my students to ensure I knew my students; their likes and dislikes. (1.1, 1.3)It also provided me with knowledge of how each child learnt and what differentiation I could apply (1.2).
