Lam eager to apply for the position of an English Teacher at American Canyon High School. I learned of
this position through my work on-site as a Student Teacher and through the website EdJoin.org,
My qualifications for this position include a BA degree in English, a BA in Psychology, @ pending
teaching Credential for Single Subject English, a pending supplemental credential in Psychology, and my

and vocal), Link Crew Program, Leadership programs, creative writing, event planning, and counseling.
Already I have integrated myself into the campus community by embracing the school’s ideals of
Relevance, Relationships, and Achievement. I have begun the process of mastering the specialized
technological tools implemented on-site and received training in the new Echo system set to launch for
the 2016-2017 academic year. I have participated in the planning and implementing of Project-Based
Learning in the classroom throughout the year. I have also participated and contributed to a Professional

teacher by engaging in innovative learning strategies, implementing relevant content and skills, designing
creative projects, and improving through collaborative learning.
Above all, [lok forward to being a role model for the students who attend ACHS. After my year of

motivated, and spirited. I look forward to continuing to foster positive relationships with these students
through engagement inside the classroom and in the school community by attending events, being
involved in clubs, and participating in additional academic programs on campus. Most of all, I hope to
share with them my love of the English language and foster an appreciation for the importance of reading,
writing and the powerful impact of finding your own voice.
