    Oracle has many hardware models in market.

    For every hardware family the method


    to access console differs slightly. Below is a list of hardware models and type
    of console each of them is using. The post also discusses methods to login into
    the console of different hardwares.
    LOM
    To connect to a LOM :
    sc/lom>console
    #.

    --- to go to the system console from LOM


    --- to go to LOM from the system console

    ALOM
    In order to login to the ALOM console :
    Please login: admin
    Please Enter password: ********
    sc> console
    ILOM
    To login into stand-alone server SP console
    -> start /SP/console
    Are you sure you want to start /SP/console (y/n) ? y
    Serial console started. To stop, type #.
