EXPERIENCE

I am so excited to begin making a difference in the lives of high school students. I am in love
with literature and I want to help others feel the same. As a teacher, I am ready to face any
and all obstacles to help students reach their full potential.

I am a hard worker in all aspects of my life. I am a full time student majoring in Secondary
English Education while also working a job on campus. In the summers, I spend all of my
time outside on a blueberry farm. This job is physically demanding and there are no set
hours: I stay until everything is done for that day. I can use technology resourcefully in and
outside of a classroom.

I work the summers packaging blueberries and selling them. I travel to other cities to go to
farmer markets. I work very closely with the blueberry pickers.

LEADERSHIP

I studied abroad in London, England for a month in the summer of 2015. I learned so much
in my time there and I grew as an independent person. I figured out how to be flexible and
go with the flow while also having the time of my life.

I was very involved with the marching band, winter guard, and drama club while I was in
high school. I was a student leader and I was the student director of the spring play in 2013.
I am a student leader at the Newman House Catholic Campus Ministry at Murray State
University.
