Laptop Use

The article Why Im Asking You Not to Use Laptops was written by Anne Curzan, a professor at
the University of Michigan, state's reasons to why she asks her students not to use their laptops
in class. She makes some good points that I can understand where she is coming from but
personally I would get annoyed in her class if I wasn't allowed to use technology. However there
are some facts that I can agree with that she mentions in the beginning of the article. I favor
typing notes rather than writing them for multiple reasons. I don't like the idea of not being able
to use a laptop during class for a multitude of reasons but the author did make some really good
points to why they shouldn't be used in class.
This is a reflective entry because I read a story that I was supposed to and wrote what I thought
after writing it. I wrote how I dont really agree with the idea of not using the laptop in class and
that my first reaction was that I didnt like the main idea.
