Welcome to the course Swedish for International Students,


Beginners Course I and II!
Students admitted to this course are welcome to be registered and divided into study
groups on Wednesday January 27, room HC206 or Thursday 28, in room HC208 in
the Humanities Building, any time between 11 am to 1 pm. The course I runs twice a
week, (4 hours a week) either Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays,
course II runs Tuesdays and Thursdays, different times you choose day and time
that suits you the best at the registration.
The courses Swedish for International Students, Beginners Course I and II offered
in the spring semester 2016 will start on Monday February 1 and Tuesday February 2.
The rooms for all classes are in the Humanities Building.
The study book that you need is text book Rivstart A1+A2, Levy Scherrer,
Paula; Lindemalm Karl, (2014) the latest version. ISBN 978-91-27-43420-2. You
can buy it at adlibris.com or bokus.com or at Akademibokhandeln down town in
Ume.
Please note that you must commence your studies no later than one week after the
course has started, i.e February 8-9 at the latest.

Cancellation of admission and course withdrawal
If for some reason you do not intend to accept the place you have been offered on this
course , it is important that you inform the course secretary (see below) about this as
soon as possible so that your place can be given to another applicant.
It is also important that you inform the course secretary if you decide not to complete
a course you are attending, so that a course withdrawal can be entered in LADOK
(the study records system used at Ume University).
Always give your name and personal ID-number (personnummer) and the course
you are registered on when you contact the course secretary by email.

studies.
