Please add my comments to the agenda for the March 1, 2016 Public Works and Infrastructure
Committee meeting on item 2016.PW11.6, Waterfront Trail - Proposed Contra-flow Bicycle
Lanes on Waterfront Drive and Feasibility of Closing Gap on Lake Shore Boulevard West,
between Norris Crescent and First Street

City Council or its committees. Also, I understand that agendas and minutes are posted online
and my name may be indexed by search engines like Google.
Comments:
Humber Bay Shores Condominiums Association is OPPOSED to the contra-flow bike lane on
Waterfront Drive. We are in favour of keeping a higher speed bike transit corridor on Lake
Shore from Norris Crescent to Humber River eastward. It has been wrongly implied by city
staff and special interest groups that the Humber Bay Shores community support the contra
flow lane at Waterfront Drive.
