BEHAVIOR CHANGE COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST

Dear Madam/Sir,
This is to express my interest to be the BEHAVIOR CHANGE COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST of your
FP/MNCHN project in Luzon.
I have spent my entire professional life working in various aspects of communication for development
(i.e., behavior and social change, social mobilization, advocacy, public outreach and media, brand
management, and internal communications). I specialize in making communication work for intended
audiences, and in developing strategies to influence behavior and policies.
I have had experiences in managing the entire cycle of behavior change campaigns--from research and
planning to monitoring and evaluation. Because of this, I am able to produce plans that are resultsoriented, materials that are cost effective and on target, and key messages that are spot-on. I am a
strategist and I enjoy the challenge of getting messages across and moving people into action.
I am self-propelling and I approach my work with spontaneity and drive. I have a healthy appreciation of
diversity and I work best with people who are not afraid to bring in new ideas.
With my wealth of experience, familiarity with FP/MNCHN issues, and thorough understanding of
behavior change in public health settings, I believe I can competently fulfill the requirements of this
post.
