Concluding Thoughts Relating to Hughes

Initiative/Program

Despite the potential issues, including getting information to both Hughes and
UC students, and getting Hughes and UC students to participate in the
program, we believe our Life of a UC College Student initiative would be
effective in addressing the problem of a lack of Hughes High School Students
attending UC by demonstrating to them the benefits of attending college, and
showing them how they can get accepted to UC and finance their education.
This will encourage more Hughes students to attend UC and help them to
become successful and productive individuals.
