Our Lady of Unity Catholic

School
2015-2016 School Year

Dear Parents & Friends,

We are so blessed at OLU to

have a great community full of
parents, parishioners, staff, and
students who volunteer their
time so readily to make this an
even more awesome place.
We held our final PTO
meeting of the year this week
and had a great parent turnout.
Elections were held for both the
vice president and secretary
positions. I am very pleased to
announce that Oscar Osorio is
our new VP and Maria Alvarez
is our new secretary for the
upcoming 2016-2017 school
year. They will join returning
officers Erika Moya, president
and Maria Rentas Monzon,
treasurer. I also want to take a
moment to appreciate our
exiting officers Sonya Sanchez
and Kara Barajas who did a
fantastic job this year.
Thanks also to all of you who
consistently help out every time
a need arises. Your efforts are
greatly appreciated and we
couldnt do it without you!
God Bless!
Nancy Butters

CANDY BAR MONEY

Several families still havent
turned in the money from the
candy bar sales. This was due
in the office on March 24. All
families were given at least
one box to sell. Please send
the money to school as soon
as possible. Thanks!

2016-2017
SCHOLARSHIP
DEADLINES

Several families have not

completed their financial
analysis on FACTS to qualify
for a scholarship. This needs
to be done very soon since
only a limited amount of
funds are available.
New students coming into
our school have the ability to
apply for a new Tax Credit
scholarship but the deadline
for that is May 20. If you are
planning to refer a family who
is currently in the USD 500
schools and receives free
lunches, please have them
contact us immediately so
they dont miss out.
Remember that you can earn
a free month of free tuition if
you refer a family who ends
up enrolling for the next year.

PROGRESS REPORTS
Progress reports have been
delayed for one week. Please
look for these to come home
in your blue envelope next
