Science
At the end of the lesson, the student will be able to:
a. name the different members of the family. (C)
b. differentiates the members of the family(P)
c. appreciates their families even they are still young.
Subject Matter: Family
Materials to be used:
a. Animated Puppets
b. Flash Cards
c. Laptop
Procedure
1. Introduce a song entitle The Family Song
Daddy Finger, Daddy Finger where are you?
Here I am (2x) How do you do?
Mommy, Brother, Sister and Baby.
(While singing, there will be an action to do by the kids.)
Daddy finger Wiggle the thumb finger while singing the song
Mommy finger Wiggle the pointing finger while singing the song
Brother finger Wiggle the middle finger while singing the song
Sister finger Wiggle the ring finger while singing the song
Baby finger Wiggle the kinky finger while singing the song
2. Show a picture of a family. Ask the students if what they can see in the picture.
3. If they get the desired answers from the students, let them repeat the answers.
4. Show the students the picture of each family members and repeat the learned
vocabularies for today.
5. Teach the essential question:
Q. Who is he/she?
A. He/ She is my _____________.
6. Let the kids repeat the procedure number 5.
7. Introduce the pairing game after the lesson proper.
