Man stabbed in Sun Valley

The Washoe County Sheriff Deputies responded to a call on Warhol Drive in Sun Valley
early Sunday morning on a report of a subject who has just been stabbed.

At approximately 12:24 A.M., Deputies arrived on scene and located several subjects
inside the residence. The victim had already been transported to Renown Medical
Center by a family member. It was reported that the victim has been stabbed during an
argument inside of the suspect’s residence.

Detectives learned that the victim, a 30 year old male, had been confronted by the
suspect inside of his residence. The suspect has been identified as 28 year old Juan
Baltazar, who is known to the victim and family members. Baltazar reportedly engaged
the suspect inside of the residence and stabbed him. The victim was able to exit the
residence and was taken to Renown. Baltazar fled on foot prior to Deputies arriving at
the residence.

Baltazar is wanted for questioning and Detectives are asking anyone with information on
this crime to please contact Washoe County Detectives at 328-3320, or call Secret
