As a Supervising Producer and Mentor at BYU Broadcasting at BYU, I am writing this letter
of recommendation on behalf of Reggie Lewis. I have helped supervised and mentored
Reggie at BYU Broadcasting for over two years and in that time I have come to know him
as a dependable and talented employee.
Reggie has shown the ability to take an assigned task and complete it in a way
exceeding expectation without much supervision. That to me as a supervisor is one of
the highest complements. To know that you need only ask Reggie to do something, and
know the task will be completed to and exceed expectation is something you can count.
While Reggie was not always under my direct supervision, I looked forward to the days
that he was assign to Line Produce on my show (BYU Sports Nation, nationally simulcast
to more than 55 million homes). Reggie is known amongst the supervisors and students
here at BYUtv Sports as a creative producer who could both lead and mentor younger
student employees and follow instructions from those who supervised him.
Reggie shows a passion for sports that in the sports broadcasting profession can be both
a help and a hindrance to ones work. However, after working with him, I discovered that
Reggies passion is life. He tackles everything he does with that passion that set him
apart here and will set him apart in his future endeavors.
I recommend Reggie as a phenomenal student, employee and person. I am confident
that Reggie will be a valuable asset to any organization as an employee. Not only will
you add an incredible young producer, but an incredible person. Please do not hesitate to
