After a super dominant run across the three qualifiers days in the

American competition, Digital Chaos booked their tickets to Manila

Major with a surgical execution in the grand finals.
Digital Chaos had a slow start in the last day of the American playoffs
qualifiers. Their 10 game winning streak was interrupted by Shazam who
claimed the first Grand Finals spot. A totally unfortunate turn of events
forced Dragneel to forfeit the lower bracket finals after Mason 'mason' Venne
addressed severe internet issues causing DC to suddenly advance to the
grand finals for a rematch against Shazam.
This time around the revamped roster of DC was not messing around
anymore with weird or uncharacteristic hero picks-- instead they displayed
high discipline and clean execution in all three games played.

Game One:

vs

For the opening game of the series Shazam tried a mid lane Mirana draft with
huge ganking potential and a late game predicated on a Lifestealer carry. But

DC quickly read their intention and countered Shazams game with a Bounty
Hunter.
Martin 'Saksa' Sazdov was DCs main weapon for a safe early game. For the
entire laning stage he continuously scouted the opposite team on his Bounty
Hunter and even boosted the reliable gold for DC with early courier snipes.
Early aggressive wards and the bounty factor made Shazam fail all their
ganking attempts and in the end they lost the control over the game.
Only 18 minutes into the game Shazam was in a desperate situation and tried
to recover with a four man smoke Roshan attempt but they were scouted by
DC and scattered out from the Pit. However, they tried again two minutes
later and again were contested but this time Digital Chaos didnt allow them
to retreat and that single team fight where the Aegis was placed on DCs
Slardar won the entire game.

Game Two:

vs

The same clean, perfect objective Dota was displayed by Digital Chaos once
again in the second match of the series. Without any interest to fight from
both teams, the scoreboard was frozen with just one kill at the 13 minute

mark and started to slowly grow once Aliwi 'w33' Omar reached level 11 on
his Dragon Knight and DC started to play the five man Dota. With an
interesting Dragon Lance item build for the Dragon Knight, meant to enhance
his early push power, DC closed the game under 25 minutes with a 15-5 kill
score lead.

Game Three:

vs

One step away from qualifying for the Manila Major, Digital Chaos continued
to play extremely passive prioritizing the farm above everything else during
the laning phase, despite securing a draft with good pick off potential or
super early aggressiveness.
The story from game two repeated, only with different heroes line-ups. DC
didnt make any move until they felt safe to group up and force Shazam into
a defensive stance. The farming battle was won by Roman 'Resolut1on'
Fominok Gyrocopter rather fast and Digital Chaos claimed the Manila Major
qualifier spot in yet another game won before the 30 minute mark.
