Implementing Community Infrastructures
The Division of Community Development (DCD) is a division of the Executive
Branch of the Navajo Nation. A federally funded program that provides housing
assistance through repairs, renovations, replacement, and/ or new construction to
families living in substandard housing. Our goal is to assure you and your family are
prospering in safe living conditions
DCD works with a team of professionals each from the 5 agencies of the Navajo
Nation: Eastern, Western, Chinle, Shiprock, and Ft. Defiance Agencies. We at DCD
work closely with the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA), responsible for
implementing community infrastructers such as:
- Waterline Extensions
- Powerline Extensions
- Public Facilities
- Renewable Energy Resources (Solar Power, Windmills)
