EGEE 101H 15 January 2016 Initial Essay My 8th grade art teacher once pompously declared that it is impossible to dislike art. In a similar vein, everything in life is made possible by energy and power, including the very concept of life. Hence, energy and power literally mean everything to me, as I would be nothing without them. Putting technicalities aside, I am genuinely fascinated by energy, and have been from a very young age. When I first learned that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, living in perpetuity in one form or another like a comic book superhero, my interest was piqued.
