Feature, Richard SineWebMD. "Rehab's Role in Treating Addiction."WebMD. WebMD,
n.d. Web.
14 Apr. 2016.
Richard Sine is an editor, writer, and consultant and is currently specializing in
health and business writing. He has been on the staff of The Philadelphia Inquirer along
with The Cambodia Daily. He is associated with a reputable institution or organization
including WebMD. This article that he wrote relates to my subject regarding rehab and
he is currently specializing in health writing. Also, this article really backs up how rehab
can transform a person which in turn backs up the statement regarding if a person can
have a second life. This article is a first edition copy.
I intend to use this article in order to help me prove a point that it is possible for a
person to have a second life especially when it comes to rehab because people decide
to turn their lives around and come out a completely different person when they leave.
There will be multiple quotations used from this article.

abuse and mental health treatment program ranging from teens to adults. All of the
institutions or places Mr. Wagener has worked at are all reputable and have goals to
help others. This source is also currently dated and keeps up with all of the information
it receives even if that means revising what they already have on their website. This
website together is a first edition of this publication and it continues to stay up to date on
all information it has included.
I plan on using this website to show that rehab really does work. I also plan on
using this website to really showcase that aftercare is essential to success and plays a
key part in the beginning in a second life of your life.

Sack, David. "Why Didn't Drug Rehab Work? 5 Wrongs That Don't Make a Right."
Addiction
Recovery. N.p., n.d. Web. 24 Apr. 2016.
David Sack is currently Chief Medical Officer at Elements Behavioral Health. He
went to Rush Medical College where he then received his medical degree. He then
went on to complete a residency involving Psychiatry at UCLA Neuropsychiatric
Institute. Previously, he had been a senior clinical scientist. Most of his research
consists of alcohol dependency, opiate detoxification, schizophrenia, depression,
insomnia, and cognitive disorders. To continue, he is board certified in topics involving
Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicines. All of these are revolving
around my subject of Rehab and all the studies show and prove it. Along with all the
research Dr. Sack has completed, he has also designed programs.
I am planning on using the information I found from the paper he wrote to use as
my opposing view. He explains 5 different points on how rehab doesnt work along with
why it doesnt work. In his explanations, he makes it very thorough and easy to
understand and identify what went wrong for any person reading the site.
