Research Proposal
1. Is consciousness a biological construct or does it exist separately yet connected to
our bodies?
2. Our purpose is to explore.
3. Im a big Ontology buff meaning I like learning about the metaphysical branch of
philosophy and this is something that Ive been wondering. I have previously read
articles and other assorted materials on the idea of consciousness and the issue with
its pure subjectivity. Ive read that its difficult to truly study it objectively because
everyone experiences consciousness through their own individual eyes. Due to it
being a more abstract concept, Im not sure if a definite answer is known. I assume
this will be more of a theoretical and philosophical inquiry into the nature of our
minds
