Red Ribbon Week Assembly

Thank you MSgt. Lisa Cruz (Guam National Guard), Catherine Castro and Anthony Mariano (Chamber of

Cans for Care


The holiday season is fast approaching and JMGES will be hosting a
canned food drive called "Cans for Care." All canned food donated will
go to the Salvation Army. JMGES will be collecting canned food
throughout the week of November 9th - 13th. Here are the spirit days
for that week:

Monday, November 9 - Meaty Monday

Bring any canned food that are meat (Ex. Spam, Vieanna Sausage, etc.)

Tuesday, November 10 - Corny Tuesday


Bring in cans of corn

Wednesday, November 11 Veterans Day Holiday; No Classes


Thursday, November 12 - Green Veggies Thursday
Bring any canned food that has green vegetables

Friday, November 13 - Fun Food Friday


Bring any type of canned food.

5th Grade News:


Hafa Adai Parents/Guardians. The 5th Grade Team would like to inform you that we are accepting donations for
the afterschool snack sales and the Thanksgiving Dance for this month. We would like to thank those who donated for the most recent fundraisers, which was last months Parent Teacher Organization (P.T.O.) and the Halloween Dance, last Friday.
The following list are items that can be sold at the school and must be pre-packaged.
Caprisun juice pouches
Gogurt (can be brought in the day of sales)
Gummies (snack-size)
Chips (snack-size)
Cookies (snack-size)
Any amount of donations will be greatly appreciated, as it will go towards the
expenses for your childs fieldtrip and promotional. Thank you in advance.
