Objetives

GENERAL: to review the English Grammar


Framework/system

SPECIFIC:
- Review the concepts of Form, Meaning and
Use;
- Study the time frames and grammar aspects;

Ex.: Present Perfect

Form:
Subject + Have/Has + Past Participle

Use:
To refer to an action in the past that influences the
present

Ex.: Present Perfect


Meaning(s):
- An event in the past without a definite time
Helen has broken her arm

- A state or repeating event lasting until the present


Ive lived here for 10 years

- To describe experiences
Jane has been to Paris and London

- Completion
Ive just finished reading Civil War

GRAMMAR STRUCTURE
All verbs in the English Language are constituted
by two factors:

A Time Frame and An Aspect

Time Frame: It tells you when something took


place.
Aspect: It tells you how the verb is related to that
time or gives you some more information about the
quality of the action.
