By definition, a risk taker means to strive beyond your personal boundaries, out of your comfort
zone. It means to actively delve into opportunities that contain consequences, and also
overcome ones comfort zone in order to experience something completely new, and that has
definitely been one of my strengths this year. Throughout this year I have been actively risk
taking, attempting new activities and being more comfortable in terms of taking upon challenges
that come with larger consequences.This was a mentality I did not fully embody all the time. I
often denied performance opportunities due to a lack of confidence in my own playing. This has
led to a series of missed opportunities and unfulfilled potentials. Being a risk taker has enabled
me to to become confident and comfortable with myself, and has greatly influenced my capacity
as musician and as a student.
