[REMINDERS]
Dont forget that this week we will be learning all
about animal parents and their babies. This
means we will be going to the zoo on Friday. We
will load the buses starting at 9:15 and leave at
approximately 9:30. If you have not turned in
your permission slip, please turn them in by
Wednesday afternoon or your child will not be
permitted to go. Please dress your child in our
classroom shirt that way they will be easily
identified as one of Mr. Handleys Hens. Also, if
any parents would like to ride the bus as a
chaperone there are 5 spots available, and please
contact Mrs. Morrow for additional information.

[All About Me]

Also, we will be having our end of unit test on

Animal Parent and Babies next Monday.

[NEXT WEEKS NEWS]

I was a 2012 honor graduate of Fitzgerald High
School in Fitzgerald, Georgia. I graduated 3rd in my
class as well as a Future Educators honor society
member. After completing dual enrollment
courses through Abraham Baldwin Agricultural
College I decided to continue my education
through ABAC. I began as a chemistry major, but
after freshman year began majoring in Early
Childhood Education. In the fall of 2014 I
graduated from ABAC with an associate degree of
science in Early Childhood. I then continued my
education through the Early Childhood Education
cohort through Georgia Southwestern State
University at ABAC. I will obtain my Bachelors of
Science in Education in May of 2017. After
graduating I hope to continue my education as
well as begin my teaching career. Through my
teaching I hope to reach children, teach children,
and impact the lives of children.

We will be exploring ROCKS next week. Next

Tuesday we will be feeling as well as observing
(looking at) rocks. I ask that each student brings
in 3 rocks from their house. They do not have to
be 3 different just 3 rocks. After observing these
rocks we will place them into distinct categories
and name these categories. Then, students will
have to take their rocks home and draw pictures
and write sentences about what we did in class
that day. A note will be sent home on Monday to
remind you about the rock project.
Supplies needed next week:
-3 rocks

-pencils

-Scissors

-glue

-crayons

Dont forget ice cream money on Friday!
