To Whom It May Concern,
I am pleased to write you this letter of recommendation for Robert Martinez in regards to the
leadership position he is running for at LAUSD/USC Cinematic Arts and Engineering Magnet
School. I have had the pleasure to have Robert as a student in my 11th grade Language Arts class,
and he has proven himself to be a responsible and outspoken individual displaying dedication in
all that he does.
Robert has already exhibited leadership qualities in the previous school year, as he was the
Sophomore Class President. He presided over the class cabinet and oversaw many of the schools
events as Class President. In addition, Robert has shown a care for his community through the
different organizations he has participated in including the Flash Forward Committee, an
organization that budgeted $1,000 for Roberts proposed idea in bettering his community. His
involvement in the Student Ambassador Program has also honed his ability to organize
community events as well as be a positive role model for youth.
In addition to Roberts experience, he is consistently and tactfully vocal in his opinions, an
essential quality for leadership. I recommend Robert for the Class President position in the
student body. I feel confident he will perform his duties with a dedication and maturity that will
exceed any expectations that come with the position.
