Congratulations!!!!! I am pleased to inform you that we want to offer you a band scholarship
to attend Edward Waters College starting this 2016 fall semester! I commend you on a job well
done during the audition and offer you a $11,000 dollar scholarship. The four year scholarship will
be renewed annually during your duration at EWC, provided you are enrolled as a full time student,
maintain a 2.0 GPA, and continue to participate in the band program.
The EWC band scholarship carries no redeemable cash value and all student aid is subject to
federal financial aid regulations and guidelines. In order to have an accurate account of students
who plan to attend Edward Waters College, we need to have a response from you regarding your
plans to accept or decline this offer. Therefore, a response is needed by May 1, 2016. Please sign
and return the enclosed duplicate copy of this letter to:

If you have not already done so, please apply for EWC online at www.ewc.edu. Go to the
Admissions tab, and then proceed to How to apply. Follow the instructions thereafter. Also, make
sure you complete your FASFA form online. A representative from the Financial Aid department
