LIKE Classroom Rules and/or Expectations: Have fun! Participate when you feel ready to do so! Understand music on some level! This may be basic or this may be accelerated, but in some form, students will be encouraged to delve into musical ideas. Grading Policies: (note: participation occurs on many forms, including active participation and mental participation. Both will be considered full participatory actions) Students will participate in the classroom and will be graded based on this AND Students will be graded based on their progression of skills as the semester continues.
Goals for the Year:
Each student will feel the music music will make them move. Each student will be creative and improvise using their voices and classroom instruments. Each student will develop an ear for music and be able to describe and perform musical tasks by the time they are ending 5th grade.
