This is the final semester of my training as a teacher. | am looking forward to this, unique learning opportunity in your child's classroom. | am originally from Vermont, but have been living on Maui for over two years. Before moving to Maui | worked as an educator at an outdoor science camp in California where I taught children about the Redwood forests and the tide pools. | have also worked with children in the summers in Colorado at outdoor science centers. Beyond working with children, | enjoy reading, hanging out at the beach and baking sweet treats. My goal after finishing my program is to become a teacher in the public school system on Maui. | will be working with the students in your child's class in various capacities both with small and large groups in science activities. | will gradually increase my responsibilities with the students over the course of the semester. | am excited to work with your child this semester.
