INVERSION/COPY AND PASTE IDEA
During my time taking my action sequence further I had used a technique called inversion and this includes selecting the chords and then I had clicked functions, MIDI Transformation and then by clicking on Reverse position it will bring you to a page and with this you click on operate to invert your piece making the chords play backwards, instead of the chords going up they will go down.
Before
After
When adding Inversion I had made another melody by copying
and pasting and then had them one bar apart to have a build up which goes back to its original note.
MARKERS, LOOP AND EFFECTS IDEA
I have used markers to show what is what to be organized which helps me see what to build from for example taking the melody further. By making my tones more effective I had added a verity of effects in different sounds to make the sound last and build tension/impact. I had placed my When adding markers how I did because my story at the Sliver Verb I begging is a slow motion bit and then had changed build towards the big action. If added to the Predelay visual genre I would have explosions Reflectivity included to what also can have an audio room size stop with just the backing track playing for and Arpegirater was used the slow-motion bit. Desity/Time to make a contineus which beat what added to created a the pop strings for rhythm example I had used which this technique on the blended out tool was used to Verlocity when it make two notes from the fluteharp. finished.
to make a strong build up.
TEXTURE OF MY PIECE THICK OR THIN
In my piece it sounds like there is a mixture of thin texture where
having included Japanese Shakuhachi Flute going from bar 6 to bar 11 which has a less amount of instruments playing which makes it thin because it has no bass and just soft texture of sound. Thicker parts in this piece are nearer to the end which had more instruments and instruments what have more impact (Harder beat), for example I had a drum what had played a C Chord and I had made a loop with this to make a steady heart beat sound. Linking the instruments together when having the I had three instruments what had played at the same time and when having the gongs playing a heart beat whilst the SoCal kit was playing a extra beat over the top making texture to my piece making an effect of like its a spy scene like the character is hiding but it is intense because he is trying to not get caught.
PROGRESSION, PATTERN AND ROWS
IDEA When taking this idea to where it is now I had structured it so that I knew what will go where and how I want it. A pattern what I had created was the progression from what it will become, for example I will add a middle part in-between the piece from bar 12 which will be a intense bit for when in my story where it will have action scene where a agency is trying to contain the main character, in this scne it has the character defending himself from these people. Sound what could be added and made is an explosion to where the people who are contain the main character with a gun the makes a huge focus which makers the explosion to try stop the main character. By doing this I can add a drum and simble to combined sound with an echo sound which will exaggerate the sound of the force bomb. The rows in this piece was placed in a way which show a way to how the piece sounds to show a build up for the intro and then melody then a slow fading end to show how dramatic end to where the has been a building what has been hit by the gun and the main character tries to save the people in it, but one of the people in the building dies.
INSTRUMENTS, SOUNDS AND DYNAMICS
All these instruments were all used for different roles such as the pop strings and the flute was used to make a blended melody which had created a build and also a continus pattern by adding inversion. Other instruments were used for other parts like 8-bit+ and drum kit was used for a loop what had made the same beat over and over for the ending to finish. More instruments were used for a faster paced sound, it was used for harp and pop strings. Verlosicity was used for the build up to change the dynamics of a note which had made a strong sound graggerly grow louder, I had used this for
CHORDS
When looking at what chords were added I had
included a coincident tune to make each note last and a also had added arpeggitratia to make a pattern in the notes.
ADDING SECTION A,B AND C
Adding sections and taking this further I will split my piece at bar 12 to add in a more intense section what will help build tension for the listener what will help them understand what is going in my story. What can be added in the section b will be a combined sound the drum and a simble to create a explosion. This will have an effect to make the sound slow motion to create a force effect and echo. Bar 12 is where section B will start in-tween the sequence.
