    Background

    Cthulhu is a cosmic entity from which he comes from the elder


    gods in outer space. His anatomy consists of an octopus head,
    the body of a man, and wings of a dragon and is a giant being.
    Simply looking upon him will drive the viewer insane.

    What is the plot?

    Cthulhu came to earth to take it over. But the elder gods saw him
    as too dangerous so they put him in an eternal sleep where he
    may once again be reincarnated. He built a city in the south
    pacific near Antarctica to represent his authority. The city is
    called Rlyeh. This is where he sleeps until the occultists of earth
    liberate him once again.

    What is Cthulhus legacy?

    Cthulhu was first seen in the short story called, The Call of
    Cthulhu and was written by H.P. Lovecraft in 1928. He has since
    been referenced in a lot of pop culture with movies, games, and
    references in other media.
