I would like to apply for the position of Community Health Worker that you
advertised on your website, Baylor College of Medicine. My previous
experience with helping people as well as my Bachelor of Science within
Psychology would help me make a positive impact for Baylor University.
My education, which was a major of Psychology and a minor in Anthropology,
would help adapt to the culture of your College in a positive way, to the
benefit of your clients. As a Psychology major at the University Of New
Mexico, I have learned about various psychological maladies that afflict
people, as well as how to handle these individuals.
I worked as an in-training emergency medical technician at a small town fire
department. This helped improve my skills with handling high stress
emergency situations in a professional manner. This experience would
benefit future clients, as they would be in the hands of someone that has
dealt with emergency situations and is therefore prepared for anything.
