Letter of introduction to parents and guardians

Hello, greetings to all administration, faulty, staff, parents and students at CE Rose
Elementary School. Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Irene Poulton. I am a
new student teacher, who has just started working with Mary Potter and her third grade students.
I am originally from back east, a place called Warwick, Rhode Island. I came to Tucson in
1974 with my family because my husband was stationed at Davis Monthan, Air Force Base and
have been living here ever since. As you can imagine; Rhode Island gets very cold during most
of the winter and early spring and it often snows there for more than six months of the year. So
I am very happy living in the desert south west where it is usually warm.
This is my first student teaching assignment so I hope that you will bear with me as I learn
the ropes. I cannot wait to meet all of you and am looking forward to a successful year.
