Mr. Tech N9nes influence was the death of his best friend when they were ghost hunting. Tech
n9ne believed that the ghost or spirit killed his friend. This led him to be more open minded
about religions and beliefs, later on leading hime to find Strange Music

CRITICISM DONE TOWARD THE ARTIST

WORK
Through his career Mr. tech N9ne faced a lot of criticism for being strange. Generally all h
would ever rap about was the truth nothing involving drugs, or sex etc. Mr. Tech n9ne was
criticized for how aggressive he was in music always angry. His album covers showed that he
was a bit crazy/ psycho. TechN9ne didnt care about the critics and said that he never would,
actually the criticizing made even more popular, but still made him a underground rapper since
he was criticized so bad.

DOWNFALL AND COME

After Tech N9ne had been in the music industry for 8
years he went quiet. He didnt announce a retirement
or anything. It took him 6 years to come back, Tech
N9ne went through a consideration stage about his
music and was a little open minded to what they had
to say. So upon his comeback he mad a new album
called Something Else showing that he was still
aggressive but in a much more smoother tone. Upon
the album he spoke straight to the critics for taking
away his fans and that he cant be judged off of
everything. This is what the song Fragile is
discussing.

FRAGILE MAKING CONNECTIONS

In the song Fragile Tech n9ne is talking about how he said that he would
never let critics get to him and that he wouldnt forget about his fans. He did
do both of these with his random disappearance getting caught up in the
Hollywood life and being paranoid to make more music. So he talks about
how sensitive he is to both his music and fans in other words hes fragile .
He wished that he would have known that it would get to this point of his life
being so old and criticized .

ANALYSIS

Overall Tech N9ne has a strong personality. Hes been questioned a lot about his music and he
faced his best friends death. I like his music in general, sometimes we need a little aggression
with music to give us a little awareness.
The overall song standing point of the song is defense and aware of why he is the way he is
towards his music. He is sensitive it is his life and his heart and no one can judge him for that.
