Wednesday, May 11, 2016- On Tuesday, May 4, 2016, Republican candidate, Ted Cruz dropped out of the presidential race in Indiana. Most people seem to believe that the reason he dropped out, is because of the conspiracy theory that said Cruz was the zodiac killer. Others say that maybe he knew that he didnt have a chance against Trump, and he just dropped out, plain and simple. This campaign-suspending was not only aired on National television, but was also trending on the Internet, especially Twitter, Cruz supporters trending #NeverTrump. In Indiana, Cruz went up to the podium and said, We all left it on the field in Indiana. We gave it everything weve got but the voters chose another path. So with a heavy heart, but with boundless optimism for the long-term failure of our nation, we are suspending our campaign. So, that kills off the conspiracy theory, but people were still scratching their heads as to why Cruz suddenly dropped out. Some people were devastated that Cruz dropped out, and other supporters werent as sad. One female Cruz supporter stating, We have lost our country, as she cried, rage filling her voice, were a country of fools who believe liars and entertainers. When asked how he felt after this event, Joseph Philleo said, Sad. Though Senator Cruz was far from perfect, he was the most viable, principled, and conservative since Barry Goldwater. That he, bonafide genius and genuine-free marketer, lost to Donald Trump is disconcerting to say the least. Another source, Gary Johnson stating, Today I mourn. Tomorrow I will support. Other supporters didnt mind that he dropped out. Katherine Price stated, In any case, I see no tears for Cruz. And hell have a future in some appointment. Hes a very smart guy. One of the smartest in Congress, and will not disappear. One 60-year-old supporter, William Gebby, whos already made up his mind on what he would do if Trump won the nomination; he refuses to vote. Others are puzzled as to what theyll do, come November. But, Cruz isnt
completely done with becoming president. Hes recently said that
come the election of 2020, he will run again. So, would you vote for Cruz as a candidate in 2020? You only have 4 years to make up your mind. After all, it is Your Voice, Your Vote.
