Weather:

Competence: Understands and distinguish different types of weather in a variety


of situations when answering questions.
Vocabulary: rainy, sunny, foggy, windy, snowy, cloudy, snowflake, storm, and
rainbow.
Sponge Activity: I went to the zoo and saw Student names an animal, the
next student repeats the animals and adds one more animal.
Warm up: T and Ss make a circle in the carpet and T Asks Ss which season is their
favorite and why.
Presentation: T shows digital images about different kinds of weather and tells
some characteristics of them.
Controlled practice:
Some Ss would have a picture (snowflakes, ice cubes, umbrellas, raindrops, etc.)
another Ss would have a type of weather (sunny, cloudy, foggy, rainy, windy,
and snowy) , Ss find their pair by matching the picture they have with the
weather.

Semi-Controlled practice:
Beginners: Ss do a collage cutting images that remind them to each kind of

with a thing or clothe using in each time.
Intermediate: Ss create a poster with each type of weather and what clothe do
we use in that time.
Free-Practice:
Teacher asks the question How would be your perfect type of weather? ss
create their own perfect weather by drawing and coloring in a sheet of paper,
when finished they present it to their classmates and share why did they do it like
that.
Evaluation: Ss complete the worksheet drawing how the weather looks like,
depending of the name written at the top of each square.
Wrap up: T asks Ss to stand up and do a circle, T throws a ball and a Ss catch it
and answer one of the questions written on the ball. Then the Ss throw the ball to
another ss.
