PREPARATION
1. Preparation tools & Consumable
Prepared all tools that were used for work : Wrenchs (rachet, hammer
wrench), burning torch, , Scafolding, Lifting Equipment, H2S detector,
and the other equipment that was needed for take of elbow and switch
valve.
Consumable : WD40 (for cleaning rust from face of flange), cotton rag,
grease/moly paste (for tightening conection bolt)
Make sure all equipment and tool have in good condition, safety and
could be utilized to carry out of the work.
2. Preparation Material
Only gasket spiral wound RTJ #600 must be replace with new one (3
pcs) .
Make sure all of material according to requirement and specification.
3. Preparation Manpower
Prepared man power in according with requirement for the work : Direct
Manpower: Fitter, Operator heavy equipment, Rigger/Scafolder, Helper
Indirect Manpower: Technical Advisor (GDA), Engineer from Rekadaya
and Wasamitra, PLN-KIT , Super Visor, Safetyman (with H2S detector)
Execution

1. Safety man check H2S contain near of working area, if clear continue to
next step,
2. Prepare scafolding or temporary support working table that was strong
and safe for work (and check and tagging by safety man).
3. Fitter unbolting all bolt conection at blind flange elbow, at elbow-valve,
and valve-flange vessel. Flange valve-flange vessel (all unbolting must
be do with star method for unbolting) and lifting carefully with heavy
equipment.
4. Cleaning all surface conection at flange valve and flange vessel also at
blind flange (only at gasket conection) with WD45, also cleaning and
give some grease/moly paste at all bolt.
5.

FINISHING
1. Carry out the cleaning in each tank, inside and outside.
2. Cleaning all around plant.
3. Gather all tools and put in the container.
4. Make sure all work was really finished and do hand over with client or
user.
