In Time (revised version)

Every time I here the chimes on the clock

I know it is time to take
my pills have breakfast then a
shave, bath or shower
then I know it is time
to meet friends and loved ones.
In time.

Every day I here the ticking of my two clocks

even I have to look twice at
my backwards clock for the time
I know it's time to leave my home to face the world
And I know it's time to meet
My friend, family, loved ones
In time.

Every time I look at my watch twice I know it is the time

to meet my good friends of the world
down at the shops, the supermarket, the bus stop,
the train station and even the
pub or library to spend 5, 10, 15, 20 minutes or even an hour
just to spend time
with all my good friends, family member loved ones
from boyfriends, girlfriends, wives,
husbands and partners
In time

Please take time out to see friends, family and loved ones
even if it is only for 5 or 10 minutes
In time
