SUMMARY
I am a multicultural senior at Richard Montgomery High School In Rockville,
Maryland, where I take several art classes, including IB Film. Photography and
Digital Arts. I have a passion for filmmaking. Whenever I see an opportunity to
help out with a project or film something, I jump on that opportunity. I am a
quick hands-on-learner. I have taught myself how to use camera equipment
and editing software.

FILMMAKING AND VIDEOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE

MCPS-TV Summer internship
Rockville, MD Summer 2015
MCPS-TV is the award-winning audiovisual arm of Montgomery County
Public Schools (MCPS), the largest school district in Maryland. I was one of
four high school students selected out of several hundred applicants. I worked
throughout the summer with professional editors, camera and audio
technicians, engineers and producers to gain skills in pre-production, lighting,
editing and creating web-content

Student Video Editor/filmmaker, TheMoco Student (internship)

Rockville, MD 2014-present
The MoCo Student is the MCPS student news source. I am a member of the
filmmaking team and I am in charge of editing all the videos that we make for
the website.
Accomplishments

Appointed as Student Video Editor in 2014.

Have made and been in charge of several different video projects and
more to come

Richard Montgomery Morning Announcements, RMBC (school

I worked on my schools televised, student-run morning announcements. I
worked as a cameraman and was part of the video production group.

Homework Hotline Live, MCPS-TV (internship)

2014 Fall Semester
Homework Hotline Live is the MCPS live homework tutoring show. I worked
answering phones, as floor director, and graphics editor.

Postal- A film about a man who gathers the courage to leave his home despite
being afraid of the outside world. He overcomes his fears in order to see a rare
stamp on display at the National Postal Museum, and in the process, turns his
life around (director, editor, cinematographer, sound designer.)
