The American Red Cross will host a "Learn to Swim"
summer program. Registration will be held at the
Konawaena Pool on Friday May 27, from 3:00 pm - 5:30
pm. There will be a fee of $15 per session. Cash Only.

Spirit Week
We have received funding for an ELL Program that will be held over the summer. Ms. Elena will be sending home a flyer for
your information. The program will be held from June 6 - June 30 from 8:30 am - 11:30 am. Forms will be sent home today
for all qualified students. If you have any questions after receiving the flyer please contact the school for Ms. Elena at 3282727.
Silent Auction - We have a few items that are still available from our Silent Auction. Please see the back of the bulletin for
which items that are available. Prices are noted. If you are interested in an item please contact the school at 328-2727.
We are still tallying up the proceeds from May Day and will have the updated totals at our SCC Meeting and a final total on
our Bulletin next week.
May Day Survey- We received some feedback regarding May Day and will be sharing preliminary results at tomorrows SCC Meeting.
If you would like to provide suggestions or feedback we will have a suggestion box available in the office. Mahalo
Students are invited to join the 2016 Summer Reading Program at 50 public Libraries. Libraries will celebrate the theme of "Health and Fitness
for the Mind, Body and Soul" encouraging students of all ages to exercise their minds and read at least 20 minutes a day to avoid getting the
summer slide. Registration begins on May 31 and the program will run for 6 weeks from June 5 to July 16. Libraries will provide free programs,
activities and prize drawings. Participants can earn reading incentives including an 11x17 Marcus Mariota READ poster. Please visit

Kona Marathon Events will be hosting the Kona Commons Aloha Keiki Run on Saturday June 18, 2016. There's fun for the whole
