The document is a student's copy of a 10-point quiz given during a student teaching experience on April 22, 2016 from 9:55am to 10:05am. The quiz consisted of 3 free response questions about linear equations. While computational skills were assessed, the quiz focused more on understanding concepts. As seen from the grading and feedback, partial credit was given and the feedback to the student was positive and provided next steps through questioning.

The following artifact is a student copy of a quiz I created. This quiz was administered during my student teaching experience on April 22, 2016 from 9:55am to 10:05am. The quiz encompasses ideas of linear equations. Consisting of 3 free response questions, the quiz is out of ten points. Students are able to receive partial credit. Based on my general rubric that I created for all my quizzes, the understanding of concepts is stressed more than computational skills. It can be seen from my grading and the feedback provided to the student that there ar examples of rewarding partial credit to the student. The feedback that I gave to the student is also actionable, as I provide positive feedback to what was done well and facilitated the next steps with questioning.
