Philosophy- Motivation from the environmental movement, artists began to create art that was
out-of-the-norm. The art was experimental and extremely simple. It also tended to be
temporary, the artists would create something beautiful and amazing, but only visible until nature

takes its course. The creation of this art was solely for aesthetic and beauty, artists tried to stress
ephemerality.
