Department of the Month Nomination Form
The purpose of the Department of the Month (DOM) Program is to recognize
Departments which have served Lear in an exceptional manner. This aims at
increasing the team spirit and will in gaining focus at departmental and
organizational objectives

Award Criteria
Department of the month evaluation should specifically focus on outputs and/or
accomplishments in a minimum of one or more of the following:
Target Achievement: (Achievement of Departmental Goals) (50 points)

Scrap- 0.1% as target of 0.9% of sales value
Overtime- 0 due to absenteeism ( Only in case of Line extensions)

Kaizen : 15 Improvements on JIT line in the Feb-2016


Best practices
1. TPM tags display on MTBL/VW/ GMI/ MVML line and proper clearing by
CFT team
Safety initiative:
1. Improved Hand tool provided on Ht. Adjuster station to avoid pinch to
figure skin and to avoid Paint peel off issue
New initiative
2. Use of lint free Hand gloves for all operators instead of knitted hand
gloves

3. LPS Screen directly hanged conveyor for standardization.
