SPRING GARDENING
Have you noticed the area by the office door
lately it is not a pretty sight but the Garden
Committee is ready to make some improvements.
We will be holding a work night on May 23 at 5pm
to revitalize the area. The intent is to plant a new
tree and knock out roses in the area that has been
patiently waiting to be redone. We need
additional hands to accomplish this on our work
night, as moving the rock, etc. will be a larger
undertaking for our group. If you have an hour or
so to donate to this project, we would appreciate
your help. Please bring a shovel if you can move
rock. Others can assist with the laying of the
weed barrier and planting a few flowers in the
pots and where some winter killed. There will be
things to do for all ages and abilities. The more
helpers, the sooner the project will be
completed.
Also, the Garden Club has no budget so we
depend on donations for all of our projects. With
the items we are purchasing for the office door
area, we are hoping to receive some funds to help
defray the cost of the project. Please consider a
small gift to help support this project it would be
greatly appreciated.
