Executive Application Form 2016-2017


Thank you for your interest in joining the Trinity Photography Club executive team. We are
currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated students to assume executive positions for
Trinity Photography Club. Together, we will work towards creating a friendly community for
photography lovers at Trinity College, as well as across the University of Toronto campus.
Application Procedures:
1. Anyone interested is eligible to apply.
2. Review the description of the position below, and please answer the accompanying questions within
this document.
3. Submit this application by June 11th, 2016 11:59 PM to photography.trin@gmail.com with Exec
App indicated in the subject line. Late entries will not be accepted.
4. All candidates can send in a resume (two pages maximum) along with their application outlining
other co-curricular and extra-curricular experience and associated skills. This is optional and is not a
requirement!
5. Once all interested candidates submit their applications, the current executive team will form the
election committee to select the new executive committee. Applicants may be requested to meet with
members of the committee for an interview.

Available Positions:
Advertising and Marketing Coordinator (2)
Financial Coordinator (1)
Descriptions of Positions:
The Advertising and Marketing Coordinators will be responsible for keeping the Facebook page and
group, as well as club website, updated with ongoing events and presentable throughout the year. The
candidates should be comfortable with web design, Photoshop, Microsoft Publisher, and designing posters
for events. The applicants must be accepting of criticism and be able to work cooperatively with others.
They must be able to adhere to strict deadlines. Proficiency in English is required; the individuals will be
responsible for writing descriptions of events held by the club. Candidates for this position are required
to submit previous works demonstrating artistic talent using Photoshop with this application form.
The Financial Coordinator shall be responsible for preparing budgets and keeping records of all monies
spent as authorized by Trinity College Photography Club. The individual shall confirm the dates, and
attend the finance meeting of Trinity College Meeting (TCM) to ensure the approval of the club budget
throughout the school term. The candidate shall also be responsible for ensuring the club reimbursements
are accurately and promptly delivered. The Financial Coordinator may also help with purchasing of
supplies necessary for the club events.
