Coordinate programming for students with developmental disabilities district wide in both center-based and
inclusive settings. Working with staff to plan, schedule, and work towards program goals by mentoring staff,
provide training, and ongoing support.
Provides Professional Development to a variety of stakeholders in the school district: new teacher training,
professional development and on-going support for teachers, education assistants, parents, and transportation staff.
Provides Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training to special education staff, members of school crisis teams and
school administrators.
Member of the district Assistive Technology team. This team was awarded a grant from the Minnesota Department
of Education (MDE) for three years of training and guidance.
Developed programming and curriculum that started the Robbinsdale Transition Center.
Developed programming and curriculum for students on the autism spectrum at Cooper High School. This program
allowed for a more structured resource setting and direct instruction based on the needs of students on the autism
spectrum.
