Abstract
Inadequate blood clotting may bresult from vitamin K deficiency, genetically
determined errors of clotting factor synthesis (eg. Hemophilia), a veriety of
drug-induced conditions, ande thtrombocytopenia. Treatment, therefore,
involves administration of vitamin K, preformed clotting factors, or
antiplasmin drugs. Thrombocytopenia may be treated by administration of
platelets.
