Douglas Gordon- 24 hour psycho 1993http://www.tate.org.uk/art/artists/douglas-gordon-2617

This work consisted of a projection and screen device showing the extended
24 hour version of the movie psycho. This was to show the importance of the
piece and to display the detail that went on within the movie. By extending
the movie, it allowed it to become more of an art piece as the movie
ultimately lost the narrative attached.

School of art, Slade School of Fine Art, and then the University College
London.
Born in Glasgow in 1966
