Introduction to Permaculture

Permaculture is an integrative design science that focuses on the beneficial


interactions and relationships of design elements. Developed during the 1970s in
Australia it has been accepted worldwide as a sustainable design system for human
endeavors.
We will focus on applying the core principles of Permaculture Design to urban
landscaping and homesteads.
Learn about: plants for edible landscaping, integrated pest management, Backyard
Orchard Culture, habitat restoration, site water retention techniques, cover crops
and soil fertility, inner cropping vegetable production and lawn eradication
techniques.
