Permaculture is an integrative design science that focuses on the beneficial
interactions and relationships of design elements. Developed during the 1970s in Australia it has been accepted worldwide as a sustainable design system for human endeavors. We will focus on applying the core principles of Permaculture Design to urban landscaping and homesteads. Learn about: plants for edible landscaping, integrated pest management, Backyard Orchard Culture, habitat restoration, site water retention techniques, cover crops and soil fertility, inner cropping vegetable production and lawn eradication techniques.
