TDSNSC NEWSLETTER MAY 2016 ANNUAL YEAR END PICNIC at TDS April 15th, at 6 PM The annual year end Picnic was on April 15th at 6 PM at TDS. Everyone didn't seem to mind that the Picnic was inside! We will be having "Pot Luck" on the third Friday of the summer months st TDS Ko at 6 PM. The dates are as follows: May 20th, June 17th,July 15th, August 19th, and September 16th. The association will provide plates, utensils, cups and Soda Pop. Everyone will bring something to share. These are BYOB events. GYPSY VANNER HORSE TOUR AND LUNCH Tuesday, April 19th, 10:00 AM The tour of the Gypsy- Gold Farm, the home of America's First Gypsy Vanner Horse, was very interesting. We saw some of the most famous Gypsy Vanner Horses in the world including the mare “Dolly" the first Vanner to step hoof on American soil. Top stallions including Breyer and Vogue Model, the Gypsy King, as well as Cushti Bok the horse that started it all. We heard how Gypsies developed these wonderful horses (from the man who actually discovered and named the Gypsy Vanner breed). We then traveled to Mojo's in Belleview for Lunch. Ronda went on the tour of thre Horse Farm and got to meet a number of the ladies. We are sorry to announce the passing of a member Al Paczier. Margit and Al lived at 2003 Allende Avenue. They went on a cruise with the TDSNSC group. Our condolences go out to Margit. David Land has been hospitalized for some time. He now has been transferred to The Villages Rehab for therapy.
