Caroline Sherman
I am honored and excited to step into the role
of President as the Club
continues to grow in
both membership and
our service to the Community. I want to thank
the members who completed the survey in
May, there was a 47%

response rate which is

wonderful news. As a
Board we are studying
the results of the Survey
so that we can serve our
membership and continue to meet your expectations. I look forward to
spending time with a
wonderful group of ladies at our different upcoming
activities.
Please contact me if you
have any questions.

about the volunteer activities we are considering for the next 12 months. It is also your
chance to provide input on new and existing
activities for the Club. If there is an event you
would like to chair, this is a good time to seek
that position.

New Member Ambassador

The position of New Member Ambassador is a
new board position for GKWC. I am very enthusiastic regarding my opportunity to connect
with the new members this year. Because this
position is a new one it will be evolving during
the year. I started by looking up the definition
and liked this one the best: Ambassador - a
person who acts as a representative or promoter of a specified activity. And then the synonyms were offered: campaigner, representa-

tive, promoter, champion, supporter, backer. I

am now working on helping to define a New
Member. And I welcome any suggestions or
ideas that you may have regarding this position. In the meantime, you are welcome to contact me with any questions or concerns. Susan

Publicity
Hello,
I would like to introduce myself to those of you who do not know me. My name is Carol Bafus
and I am the new Publicity person for the GKWC this year. I look forward to getting to know
each of you and hope I can capture the true essence of The Greater Keller Women's Club members and events this coming year. I will be the one wandering around with the camera, phone or
IPad asking you to smile, and making memories.
If I am not at an event I hope someone will snap a few pictures and pass them on to me via
email, so I can make sure we get a true scope of the multiple opportunities that are available to
our members, socially, through community service, special events and fundraising.
Thank you and I am looking forward to a great year.
Regards,
