Beautiful sandy beaches, great sea and some very pretty beach huts. Many
a wonderful day spent here in my childhood

Beautiful, fun, lively, pier, rides, pebble beach, arty, nice shops, good beach
cycling routes home, indie, accepting, between the beautiful downs and the
stormy sea. big, bold, bright Palace Pier, Royal Pavillon, pebble beach, the
Seagulls, student town, North Laines, clubbing, gay pride. I love the fun and
buzzy feel and the Lanes that are 5 mins walk from the sea, and the west
pier remains

My first home, Essex Sunshine Coast, North Sea, rock, pier, candy, walking
into town, going on the sandy beach, swimming in the sea
'Sterchi's' Easter eggs, Donkey rides, Filey Brigg, Cliff top walks and of course
huge fish n chips. Coble landing, long sandy beach, Edwardian festival, Brigg

Easy to reach, small, intimate, family resort, unpretentious,
traditional, simple seaside pleasures-sandy beaches, restaurants
overlooking the sea, fresh crabs, lobsters...little theatre and all the usual
kiosks, long promenade-flat at first and climbing up to the cliff top, beautiful

Picturesque, worms head, walk for what seems miles, mackerel fishing,
beautiful sand, refreshing sea, kite flying, surfing and swimming, wading in
clear cold water.
a mix of old fashioned seaside and funky new cafes clinging onto the
eroding side of the island.
Homely harbour, Exmoor deer, Dunster dungeons, Dunkery Beacon, seaside
golf, steam trains and tourists
Brilliant surfing, beautiful clean beach, peaceful. Fantastic clifftop walks and
close to strawberry fields.

2. Walk to Dawlish and views are a coastal geographers dream. The cake is
blooming nice at the end of the walk too. been going there since I was very
little Holiday, family, sand, sea, red sandstones, golf, amusements, coastal

and they celebrate May Day with a Obby Orse, highlight of the year. Pasties,
crab nets, cycling, walking, surfing, rowing, Rick Stein.

chips anywhere...
Safe sea, sandy beach - sand sculptures, cream teas, fireworks on the beach,
lovely coastal walks, good restaurants. Fantastic for young families.

Huge skies, vast expanse of golden sand, turquoise waters, wide open
space, pine forests, shells to collect, lagoon and sand dunes. Paradise
No cars, fab beach, clear water, perfect sand, excellent swimming. Can only
get there by boat - so no overcrowding
